Post-Move-In Information

Refuse and Recycling

Please do not leave any trash, recycling, or other personal belongings in the hallways, lobbies, stairwells, or other common areas of the building. This creates a tripping and fire hazard. Disposal fees may be levied if it is found that you have done so.

If you should have large items of which you need to dispose, please make the borough aware by submitting a Bulk Refuse Pickup Form or by calling (814) 234-7135. Once that step has been completed, you may take the large item and place it by the dumpster. Please do NOT block access to the dumpster nor attempt to send large items down a trash chute (if applicable)!

Mail and Deliveries

Please be sure to update your mailing address with the US Postal Service to ensure mail is delivered in a timely manner. Be sure to include not only the building address, but your specific apartment number (if applicable). Place a notecard in your mailbox with the name(s) of all occupying residents.

PLEASE NOTE: Mail will NOT be delivered if your mailbox is open. Please ensure your mailbox door is securely shut and locked (if applicable) after retrieving mail from it. Thank you for your cooperation!

Pugh Centre Residents: The US postal service will not deliver mail to the property. Please either set up a post office box or have all mail sent via a different carrier. We apologize for the inconvenience!

If mail is delivered to someone who is no longer occupying the apartment, please bundle the mail and write “Please Forward” on the top envelope and put it in an out-going mailbox. Please do not bring it to the Rentals Office.

Additionally, make sure to update shipping addresses for carriers like FedEx, UPS, and Amazon. Please note that these services do NOT have access to the parcel lockers – these lockers are only accessible by USPS! If you have questions regarding to where the package will be delivered, please contact the provider directly. ARPM will neither hold nor sign for any packages.

Furniture

If you find there is furniture in your residence that is not on the furniture list provided with your move-in inspection link, please contact the ARPM Maintenance office by phone – (814) 237-5811 – or by email – [email protected].

Any furniture that is on the asset list MUST remain in the apartment even if it is not being used. Do not place furniture on any balconies, or in any hallways, lobbies, stairwells, or other common areas. Replacement fees may be levied if is found that you have done so.
